5. By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
6. The competition opens for entries at 00:01 on 16th October 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 30th November 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or otherwise not received for any reason.
8. All valid entries received by 23:59 on 30th November 2026 will be considered for shortlisting.
9. A judging panel comprising members of the Herbal Essences brand team at Procter & Gamble will select the three shortlisted entrants from all eligible entries. Entries will be judged based on storytelling, scent profile and engagement.
10. The shortlisted entrants will be contacted individually and will be required to review and accept any additional terms and conditions relating to the next stages of the competition, including participation in the scent creation and consumer voting. The three shortlisted entrants will participate in the scent creation stage. The resulting three shortlisted scents will then be presented to members of the public as part of a public voting activity. Members of the public will be asked to smell the three different shortlisted scents and select which one is their favourite. The scent receiving the most votes will be selected as the final winner. Public voting will take place on one day at a central London location, with the location to be confirmed.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify votes and to exclude any votes it reasonably believes to be invalid, fraudulent, manipulated or otherwise not genuinely cast as part of the public voting activity. Only valid votes will be counted towards the selection of the winning scent concept.
12. The Promoter may suspend, amend or cancel the public voting activity where reasonably necessary to protect its integrity, including where it identifies or reasonably suspects fraudulent, manipulated or otherwise invalid voting activity.
13. The prize is as stated and is non-transferable, non-refundable and may not be sold or exchanged. The prize is a £10,000 cash payment and cannot be transferred to another person.
14. Shortlisted entrants will be notified within 28 days of the competition closing date. If a shortlisted entrant does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of notification, or is unable or unwilling to participate in the next stage of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative entrant.
15. Entrants agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and any additional requirements set out in the promotional materials relating to the competition.
16. Personal information provided in connection with this competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the promotion, unless otherwise stated and consented to. For further information about how personal data is handled, please see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy: https://privacypolicy.pg.com/en-GB/.
17. By entering the competition, shortlisted entrants and/or the eventual winner may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion. Any use of an entrant’s name, image, likeness or submitted content for promotional purposes will be subject to the applicable terms and permissions agreed with the entrant.
18. The winner(s) may be announced on the official Herbal Essences Instagram and/or TikTok account and may be tagged in the relevant post, subject to the winner's consent where required.
19. One winner will receive the £10,000 cash prize in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, the award of the £10,000 cash prize is not conditional on the development, manufacture or launch of any Herbal Essences product. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, consider the winning scent concept for further development or as inspiration for a future Herbal Essences product or limited-edition range. However, the Promoter is under no obligation to develop, manufacture, market or launch any product arising from, or inspired by, the winning entry, and reserves the right not to proceed with any such product development or launch for any reason.
20. Payment of the cash prize of £10,000 will be administered by Justsnap GmbH on behalf of the Promoter and is subject to the additional prize payment terms set out in the Addendum to these Terms & Conditions. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to comply with the requirements set out in that Addendum, including providing such information as may reasonably be required to verify the winner and process payment.
21. As shortlisted entrants may be publicly associated with P&G International SA and may be invited to participate in in-person elements of the promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entrant where, acting reasonably, it considers that the entrant’s conduct, public statements or publicly available content:
a. promotes, endorses or includes hate speech, discrimination, harassment, violence, unlawful activity or serious anti-social behaviour;
b. is otherwise reasonably considered to be offensive, harmful or inconsistent with the values or reputation of the Promoter or P&G international SA; or
c. could reasonably be expected to bring the Promoter, P&G international SA or the promotion into serious disrepute.
Where relevant and lawful, the Promoter may also take into account unspent criminal convictions that it reasonably considers material to an entrant’s suitability to participate in any in-person or public-facing element of the promotion.
Any decision to disqualify an entrant under this clause will be made reasonably and on a case-by-case basis.
22. By entering the competition, entrants confirm that their submission is their own original work and does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights or any other rights of any third party. Entrants acknowledge and agree that any submissions, ideas, suggestions, concepts, materials or other contributions provided in connection with the competition, including any scent memory, fragrance idea or input provided during the scent development process, may be used by the Promoter, P&G international SA and/or its designated affiliates for the purposes of developing, producing, marketing and commercialising products, fragrances, packaging, campaigns and related materials, without any additional compensation beyond the prize, if any.
23. Entrants further acknowledge and agree that any fragrance, product, concept, formulation, packaging, campaign material or other output developed as a result of, or in connection with, the competition, together with all associated intellectual property rights, will be owned exclusively by Procter & Gamble and/or its designated affiliates. To the extent legally permissible, entrants waive any right to claim royalties, licence fees, attribution, ownership or any other payment, benefit or intellectual property right arising from their participation in the competition or from the use, development or commercialisation of any resulting fragrance, product, concept or other output.

Prize Payment
Justsnap GmbH, Gontard Straße 11, 10178 Berlin, Germany ("Justsnap"), has been appointed by the Campaign Organiser to contact the confirmed winner and arrange payment of the £10,000 main prize. The Campaign Organiser remains responsible for administering the Campaign, assessing eligibility, selecting the winner, and awarding and funding the prize. Justsnap does not make those decisions.
Once the Campaign Organiser or its authorised agency has confirmed the winner and provided their email address to Justsnap, Justsnap will email the winner with instructions for providing the information needed to arrange payment. This will include the winner's full legal name and appropriate bank account details, such as a UK sort code and account number or an IBAN. Justsnap may request further information, including date of birth, country of residence, nationality or identification documents, where necessary for the payment provider's checks or to comply with applicable law.
Justsnap will arrange the transfer through a payment provider. If the intended transfer cannot be completed, the Campaign Organiser remains responsible for arranging another way to award the prize.
Personal Data and Enquiries
The Campaign Organiser will give Justsnap the confirmed winner's email address so that Justsnap can contact them about payment. Justsnap will use the winner's details to arrange and confirm the transfer and will share information necessary for that purpose with the payment provider. Justsnap will provide payment-specific privacy information when it first contacts the winner.
Questions about the Campaign, eligibility or winner selection should be directed to the Campaign Organiser using the contact details in these Conditions of Participation. Questions about the transfer may be sent to consumer-support@justsnap.eu or Justsnap GmbH, Gontard Straße 11, 10178 Berlin, Germany.
Who is responsible for these activities
Justsnap GmbH (“Justsnap”), Gontard Straße 11, 10178 Berlin, Germany, acts as an independent controller for the personal data it uses to contact the selected winner, arrange the £10,000 prize payment and keep its own payment records. The Campaign Organiser identified in the Conditions of Participation is responsible for organising and administering the Campaign, including managing entries, verifying eligibility and selecting the winner. The Campaign Organiser’s privacy information covers those activities.
What information Justsnap receives and collects
After the winner has been selected, the agency acting for the Campaign Organiser gives Justsnap the selected winner’s email address. Justsnap then contacts the winner by email and collects the following information from them to facilitate payment:
Full legal name, including any middle names;
Date of birth;
Country of residence;
Nationality; and
Payment details required for the selected payment method, including an IBAN and/or other relevant account details.
Justsnap also processes its correspondence with the winner and information about the payment. Justsnap may request additional information where necessary to verify the winner, process the payment, or comply with applicable legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention or payment-provider requirements.
Why Justsnap uses the information
Justsnap uses this information to contact the selected winner, collect the information required for the £10,000 prize payment, facilitate and complete that payment, carry out any necessary verification or fraud-prevention checks, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Justsnap relies on its legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the EU GDPR and, where applicable, the UK GDPR to contact the selected winner, collect the payment information, make the £10,000 payment, prevent fraudulent transfers and deal with payment-related disputes. These interests are paying the person selected by the Campaign Organiser accurately and securely and protecting Justsnap against mistaken or disputed transfers. Justsnap relies on Article 6(1)(c) for payment and accounting records that it must retain under applicable law.
Who receives the information
The prize payment may be processed through Revolut or Wise, subject to the applicable requirements of the selected provider. Justsnap shares the information needed to make the payment with the selected provider and the financial institutions involved. Service providers supporting Justsnap’s communications and systems may handle information on its behalf. Justsnap may disclose information to authorities where required by applicable law. The selected payment provider may require additional information for its own verification and processing requirements.
Where the information is processed
Justsnap processes the winner’s personal data in Germany. To arrange the prize payment, Justsnap shares the necessary details with the selected payment provider, Revolut or Wise, and the banks involved in the transfer. The payment provider may process information in other countries, as explained in its own privacy notice. Where Justsnap itself transfers personal data outside the UK or EEA to a country without an adequacy decision, Justsnap uses the safeguards required by applicable data protection law.
How long Justsnap keeps the information
Justsnap keeps the winner’s contact, verification and correspondence data only while needed to make the payment and deal with related questions. When they are no longer needed for those purposes, Justsnap deletes them, unless a specific legal obligation, pending dispute or fraud investigation requires longer retention. To document why and to whom the £10,000 prize was paid, Justsnap keeps a limited payment record: the agency’s instruction identifying the selected winner, the recipient’s name and IBAN or other account identifier, the amount and date of payment, and the payment provider’s transaction confirmation. Justsnap keeps this record for the period required by applicable accounting and tax rules and, where relevant, until any related claim, investigation or tax matter has been resolved. Justsnap then deletes it.
The winner’s choices and rights
The information listed above is required to process the prize payment. If it is not provided, Justsnap may be unable to make the payment. Subject to applicable law, the winner may ask to access, correct or erase their information, restrict its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. They may also have a right to data portability. The winner may lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
